Tsubasa you have killed me again with some new and not-so-new products. I've been intending to do a huge review on my huge haul of DollyWink products. This one is focused on a couple of things that I haven't noticed too many reviews on other than the eyeliner! The first up being the DollyWink Point Lame Eyeshadow Pen in 01 WHITE. This is a product that I haven't seen a lot of people use. The packaging is adorable and very elegant. I really liked the feel of the packaging of this product a lot!
I think this was supposed to be the 'pen' version of the previous eye shadow pigment and cream shadow that she had in her first line. The pen and the white liner have replaced that! This is a super portable highlighter for the eyes!
This is also used for the tearbag effect as well! As you will see from the swatch the product is white but has chunky glittery pieces in it. honestly this pic nor the video I did does this a lot of justice!
Next up the the DollyWink Eyelashes in 03. This was SUCH a surprisingly find because this is the OLD DollyWink packaging. And honestly? I prefer it. The new packaging is too cutesy and I felt like the polkadots and bows were a really pretty and cute but mature/sexy packaging. This the front and back of the eyelash package with old era Tsu-chan featured on it! I really haven't seen anyone rock these sets of eyelashes and I don't think this set sold as well because they look so thin. They didn't transition into the new packaging for DollyWink at all so perhaps this is an extinct DollyWink product which is kind of a shame. Why I say this you ask? DO NOT let the thin-ness of the lash fool you. These are GREAT! I was so shocked!! The length totally makes up for the lack thickness !!! I'm wearing 03s alone (no layering) in the first picture and in the video below!!!
Last up item to review is the DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner Pen in 01 BLACK. This has turned into my favorite eyeliner. Yet again like before, I actually like the older packaging. The bright pink and purple are kind of clashing in my honest opinion but oh well, the actual liner is great!! It's very thin and precise which is great for filling in gaps in your eyeliner or even the area between your eye a eyelashes. If you want a thin neat line this is also for you. A lot pen eyeliners aren't too flexible at the tip but this bends because its kind of like a brush instead of a marker or sponge. Because this eyeliner is so thin this is such a essential thing to have for the DollyWink eyelashes! I feel like any other liner ends up being way too thick and because the eyelashes can be so thin and delicate heavy eye liner or eye make-up in general will not have the eyelashes show up. So if you get the eyelashes DO PLAN to invest in the eyeliner or you'll not see the difference and wonder how the hell Tsubasa gets those pretty eyes with JUST those eyelashes! I usually don't ask for votes for these type of contests but I'd love to stand a chance in this one but Kawaii International! It's been a huge dream of mine to be the bridge between Japan and the United States through fashion and pop culture! I'm not only a gyaru but a lolita and a cosplayer! I've done visual kei and all sorts of fashion genres in the past so I'd LOVE to represent us foreigners as a whole! I feel like Kawaii is confidence! Being confident means going against all rules set except for your own! There are no boundaries to how cute or cool you can be!
