Christmas Haul (ma*rs, Liz Lisa, Card Captor Sakura iPhone Clow Case) + SacAnime Winter 2016

Hello everyone! I've taken a break from writing ficcage (because I am trash like that and am trying to get as many things finished as possible before school rolls back for me) to actually blog!

First off happy belated holidays to all of you~ I hope you all had good ones. Mine was okay and as usual-was full of 'TREAT YO SELF'. But I certainly did a lot for my family this year and that somewhat made me feel accomplished.

For Christmas instead of receiving gifts I mostly bought for others and for myself. As reward for finishing finals with high marks I ended up doing another Rakuten haul. I saw a really adorable Liz Lisa one piece dress for 20.00 and HAD to get it. To make shipping more worth it (because shipping murders my ass every single time I do this) I ordered a Ma*rs top along with it. I'm really happy with these pieces and have gotten a lot of use out of them.

The red dress I've been eyeing for years now. I LOVE the lace at the bottom and finally I had another Liz Lisa dress that wasn't brown. Believe it or not, I have THREE Liz Lisa dresses in a brown color way, a hoodie in the same color way, and then a cream and dusty pink floral maxi dress I got for my birthday. This, however, was red!! Liz Lisa rarely does red colorways so I grabbed at it and have adored this dress a lot. It's long sleeve and keeps me decently warm if I'm not out and about for a long amount of time.

The Ma*rs top is GORGEOUS. It's open back with lace sides and rhinestone buckle closures. It's really plain in the front but the back totally makes up for it. I've worn it to school on certain occasions as well as wore it to a con.

Along with my clothing it was time to get a damn new phone case. Most of my shit like my handbag and such are all magical girl themed. I couldn't find a Sailor Moon case I was head over heels in love with and all the Uranus/Neptune ones are for the iPhone 6.... which makes me some sad trash. So, I opted for the next best series and saw that there was a Card Captor Sakura phone case that they were catering for the 5s which made me VERY happy. I also liked the design because unlike the wallets (which are admittedly equally as cute) this really does resemble the book of Clow! I got the replica for it but honestly, it's a pretty decent replica. The original was 90.00 and I couldn't justify but the replica was 20.00. The only sad bit is the real one has a foil gold metallic finish versus the one I have which is matte and faded a little. :( Regardless Sakura's key wand is the little keychain in place (I want to get Touya and Yukito charms to hang off of it lmao)  and the inside has little pockets that I've used to hold hotel card keys or train tickets for when I can't be bothered to shove them all the way down into my big ass wallet. The little pocket has Kero's face stamped onto it and I thought it was a cute touch.

As for Christmas, I decided to do a really elegant coordination with the dress I got. Even though my family didn't do much on Christmas, I still wanted to dress up for the sake of the holiday. For my make up I wore a neutral eye with Princess Mimi contacts (they're kind of a signature of mine), a interestingly colored Givenchy lipstick I got back at my birthday, Motto Eye eye lashes, and Diamond Lash bottoms.

After Christmas, I spent my New Year's weekend in Sacramento at SacAnime. I wore the same dress because it was an excuse to wear long sleeves (it's fucking cold in the valley) but changed up my make up a little and really focused on my hair this time.

For my hair I did really cute bunned twin tails that I curled. I was inspired seeing a couple of girls in another Liz Lisa dress I owned rocking them in a street snap from a couple of years ago... Being 24 years old, I wasn't sure if I could pull off such a hair style but I think the style of my make up and coordinate helped pull it off a bit better. I certainly felt young in it.

For my make up everything it almost the same except I did a three-toned gradient lip using the Etude House BE104 lipstick, a Jill Stuart orange lip on the inner part, and then added the Etude House Cherry Liptint to the very innermost parts. I also placed a focus on my cheek make up. I was really impressed with my high light and contouring and how I really tried to do kind of a blush that changed colors in the light. I've been into tri-toned everything lately. I'm secretly blaming the Korean make-up artist Pony for the inspiration.

Anyway, I got a bit of an early start down in Sacramento. I thought I was going to be a badass warrior princess and stroll around without a jacket because my d.i.a jacket don't match for shit, but no....half way down the sidewalk from the parking lot I told my friend that I had to haul my ass back. It was the wind more so that the cold.

Miguel graciously was determined that I wasn't spending most of the weekend outside and enabled me to walk around the con. Thank you very much sir! The pre-reg line looked like a fucking nightmare but thankfully ours was at con reg which wasn't as long thankfully.

We took a couple outfit pictures of my coordinate (I really wish I could find shoes that match it better! D:) and waiting for Emma, Sydney, and Bella to arrive. Emma and Sydney were doing the zombie police versions of Panty and Stocking which looked great. And Bella was doing an ADORABLE version of Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter.

To stall around line wise for them, we all ended up chilling at Starbucks and had a Starbucks date. I was so happy that the Sacramento Convention Center location still had the Caramel Brulee Latte because everywhere where I live was sold out. I was gifted a selfie stick over Christmas and kind of derped around with it with the girls and Miguel. I wouldn't use it on anything but group shots where my arm doesn't reach long enough. After nearly fucking over my phone tho I was pretty done for the day D:

Afterwards the kouhai picked up their badge and we roamed around the convention center majority of the time. I'm usually literally there to see friends and that's it. We *did* end up going to get dinner after Emma's boyfriend Henry arrived which was nice. I don't get to dine with them often and it was over all a nice experience. We ended up trekking for shitty Japanese food. ONE DAY I will get to take them to the good places.

Afterwards we roamed around more and I finally ran into Sara, Brian, Jett, and Vale who had a late start.

We derped around at the Sheraton hotel for a bit while other people did shoots and such. Vale's cosplay apparently got mistaken for a variety of things other than what he was cosplaying. lmao

The boys ended up randomly arm wrestling while Sara and Miguel went to the swap meet. After it was a thing random people started joining it. It was really funny. Poor Jett kept getting so close but no cookie.

At the end of the night I wanted to melt crying because Sara contributed to my trash life. She ended up finding Ranka and Sheryl figs at the meet and I had *no idea* she was getting into or into Macross F at all. The sweet soul gave me the Sheryl fig while she kept the Ranka one. I have the cute little thing sitting next to my LunaPi! <3  Thank you so so much hun. It was totally unexpected. ;_; <3

Everyone went onto iHop and I decided to turn in early knowing I still had a long day ahead of me. I ended up cleaning and soaking in a long ass bath and my ass passed out...not before realizing something as I was drifting off to sleep.

My dumbass forgot to pack my make up brushes and mirror.....fuck..... I was super anxious for the morning.

So I woke up the next morning having one HELL of a time. Thankfully my Naked3 palette comes with a brush or I might have been doomed. I was intending to cosplay a female version of Kurose Riku from Ten Count because my blue contacts which are perfect for him expire in April along with the fact that my jacket is appropriate enough to wear in the cold weather. I wasn't comfortable cross playing considering I hadn't done such a thing in so long and intended to change back out into my regular stuff later on in the day. I was literally having malfunctions all morning. It kind of depressed me considering this was the first time I was cosplaying since 2014.

The sweeties I roomed with ended bringing me loads of breakfasts stuff to naw on while I attempted to get my ass ready. A lot of shitting brush techniques were used and I seriously used my fingers and a damn eyeshadow pencil to contour my face. I used a different end of my Naked3 brush to highlight and use as a blush brush...

At the end I felt challenged and proud. The Kardashians don't have shit on me because I contoured with almost nothing to work with. -sobs-

So I throw on the wig I borrowed from Emma and god dammit my head was too big. Supposedly Emma wears extra small wigs. Not only that but the bangs/part was giving me so much shit. So I literally only rocked this cosplay for part of the day before saying 'fuck it'. I'm super glad I brought my flatiron to fix up my real hair for later.

For Kurose I wore a jean mini, my ma*rs top (because I planned to be a bit more femme later on), my d.i.a jacket, and thigh high boots. It was a seriously simple look. I really hope I am capable of doing a round two and with a Shirotani. :')

My kouhai looked AMAZING. Bella was doing Poison Ivy from the Batman series and Sydney was doing Black Widow. Little kids were coming up to them all morning long and it was super sweet. They worked so hard on their cosplays and I was insanely proud of them. For their age they do so well with children. Emma and Henry's anniversary was that day (congrats you two) so I didn't see Emma until later but she looked AMAZING. She was cosplaying from Rozen Maiden and literally looked like an adorable porcelain doll. I'm very impressed she could see out of one eye. SO SAD I DIDN'T SELCA WITH HER....grah!

I also ran into Johnny, Neth, and Jessica and hung out with them for a little while. It was so nice seeing familiar faces. Neth hella tried lifted me up in my little skirt....I was afraid I was about to flash the shit out of everyone. Jessica was such a sweetie and was so happy to see everyone from what I could tell. Johnny was well trolling with his sword. lmao and trying to have phones tell me dirty things. smhhhh

I met up with Jett, Vale, Sara, and Brian much later and them along with Miguel and I ended up leaving the con for boba. Someone suggested Cool Tea Bar for us and it was really great. The first day there I didn't realize they had Jenga...but man the next day....I will talk about it later on. ahaha Because I wanted to say bye to everyone properly before they left for the weekend, I ended up saying goodbye to my roomies at the boba place and quickly went to eat dinner.

Miguel and I went to Mana for all you can eat Japanese and Korean food... I was a total piggy. Miguel bailed so so early dammit. I did a lot more side dishes than main courses this time around. Hopefully next time I last long and have more help..

We then decided that we were going to stay an extra night. We found a great deal on the Sheraton and decided to stay there so Miguel could properly rest since he had an insanely long drive back.  Once we were checked in we went back to the con and spent time with Johnny, Jessica, and Neth before they left. I ended up seeing the kouhai off who had just gotten finished with the rave.

With that we called it a night. I was so glad to be CLOSE BY in terms of the hotel and convenience. It meant Miguel could properly rest and we didn't have to worry about a commute to the con or con parking at all. I was super greatful for that. It for sure allowed us to sleep a bit more thankfully.

The next morning was MAKE UP TECHNIQUES FROM HELL PART TWO... Ugh I even stalled because I was dreading figuring out how the fuck I was going to do my face for the day. Thankfully I had brought an extra set of clothes having a feeling I might stay in Sacramento longer than intended. I did a really casual gyaru look. I don't even know if you can fully call it gyaru or agejo. Everything was technically in place but I just couldn't do my hair. I didn't bring hairspray to curl my hair a ton so I just settled for putting my hair half way up.

It was the last day of the con anyway so I didn't matter. Plus, believe it or not, it was the most comfortable I had been all weekend minus my damn shoes. My boots are the worst. I limped for a good majority of the day.

I can't believe I had actually figured out a second make up look using only one brush. -forever proud of self-

I wore Golds Infinity..mainly just a dress and tunic and my d.i.a jacket to keep warm. Go figure the day where I am dressed the warmest and most comfortable the weather turns out being warm and nice. wtf Sacramento?

I met up with the girls for a little bit after they had went to the Marvel gathering. Sydney did a really neat version of Captain America and Bella did the neighboring Winter Solider outfit. They looked super super cute. They had shorts, fishnets, and bunny ears!! Emma and Henry did kigus and probably happened to be the most comfortable of us all...

We went into the dealers hall where I fawned over Sailor Moon lockets (which were wayyy over priced gdi) and lots of bunny plushies. The amount of plushies they had were ridiculous. I wanted to cry because they were all so cute but I totally couldn't justify them. I was actually pretty surprised at the amount of Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura goods they had. It's kind of a small convention that's grown over the years but I always thought it catered to the younger crowd or was more of a pop culture convention than anything. Not that Sailor Moon isn't a thing but I expected the US goods and not the Japanese ones. I've always felt like the Japanese goods looked way nicer...more elegant and grown up even if they were toys.

After walking around we settled for Starbucks. Sydney was trying to be all chilvarious and shit and buy her senpai a coffee. I told her if they were out of Brulee to get me an ICED GREEN TEA LATTE... that girl comes back with an ICED DEATH LATTE. lmao at first everyone thought I was being a super duper pussy about it knowing how much I liked sweet things. However, after everyone tried that poison they realized I wasn't joking. Miguel salvaged it by throwing twelve fucking packs of sugar into that shit. Jesus christ.

Later on we met up with some friends and honestly just walked around for a bit. The end of me at SacAnime ended up like this... I'll just leave this picture here..lmao

LOL This is exactly what the last day/leg of con looks like folks!

Afterwards, Miguel and I booked it to Ryujin Ramen House where I was SUPER excited to get ramen. It's actually one of my favorite ramen spots and I hadn't had it in a year and a half. Because of this, I was super anticipating getting it..

Ryujin when I used to go was never ever packed. We would be in and out in no time. Now a day when I pass by, there's always a crazy line and a wait time. The wait for us was long but so very worth it. This is serious comfort food to me after not having it for so long.

I ended up getting takoyaki to go with with my ramen~!

For dessert we heading to Cool Tea Bar again where I got more boba and where Miguel ended up showing me how to play Jenga because I had literally never ever played before. It's a really horrible but fun game. All the evil comes out of me and I can't wait to play again and with other people. We played for so many hours and each time we played the worse we were to each other.

In all, SacAnime Winter was a really fun convention. It was more for seeing friends and chilling but I wouldn't have it any other way. I feel so at home here so matter how far I am away from it, That sense of familiarity is incredibly calming, plus I got to try new things along the way.

So far the end of 2015 and into 2016 has been decent and I can't wait for new adventures in the near future!

Until next time guys~~~ <3

Etude House: Dear My Blooming Lips Talk + Fresh Cherry Lip Tint + Gradient Lip Tutorial

Hello everyone! I'm back with a huge K-Beauty review on a couple of lip products from Etude House! For a while, I've really been loving Etude House products. Not only are the products I've brought cutely packaged in princess style packaging but they're also good quality for the price you pay for! I couldn't recommend this brand any more than I have and will continue to. I haven't been disappointed in anything I've bought from them so far!

First off, let's talk about the lipstick I received in the mail. I've hear nothing but positive things about the Dear My Blooming Lips Talk series of lipsticks. One friend did have a negative experience with the Princess Etoinette collection lipstick but I'm pretty sure it's because they bought an expired lipstick possibly because I certainly didn't have that experience with this lipstick that I bought.

The color I bought was BE107 which I assumed was going to be a nice nude color. It's more of a muted baby pink and I am not complaining. I've been looking for a nice cheap dupe of Candy Doll's "Ramune Pink" lippie and I think I have found it. I always used to adore the lip shades that Tsubasa Masuwaka would wear on her lips but every color I bought either was too bright or had a frost to it. So I was really thrilled to find a color that was very close to what I have been aiming for, for years and at half the price! It color is very pigmented and I'm pretty pleased about that. I was fearing that because it was a Korean brand lipstick it wouldn't pack a punch. In Korea they aim for a light natural look so pigment isn't really as much of a priority as it is here in the States or maybe elsewhere. I'm happy to say that this lipstick has a nice pigment and isn't just a tinted balm or something!

The formula is very creamy and hydrating. It's not a 'dry' lipstick and for that I'm very happy. Nothing is worse than having a really hard to apply dry lipstick and on top have dry mouth to boot. I also run into the problem of drinking water or something so my mouth won't be as dry and then a dry lipstick just up and not wanting to apply nice. So how Etude House you gave me a GREAT lipstick.

Along with that, the lipstick smells like roses! For some people maybe that's kind of an 'eghhh' sign but I don't mind it at all. Some lipsticks have a horrible smell and taste so I appreciate that it smells floral-y.

On top of that the lipstick packaging is so CUTE. Ughhh!!! I love how princess-like it is. Most of the Etude House stuff is really nicely packaged and that's great for when I throw things in my bag. Nothing is better than pulling out a product to touch up and everyone swoon over how aesthetically pleasing your make up is and ask where the hell you got it from.

In all I love this lipstick. I can't wait to purchase more shades. I think I know where to go for bright fun pink/coral/neutral lip shades now!

Let's go on to the Fresh Cherry Tint shall we? So I got a sample pack of this when I brought my Precious Mineral BB Cream a bit back (which is ALSO Etude House btw) but I've used it enough to deem a review on it I think. First off, I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LIPTINT. I have the red  shade and it's so perfect. I can not get over this. I have a PeriPera tint and it's a great dark red tint with a watery consistency. But this stuff is a milky tint and it does leave a nice stain. I am absolutely in love. Boy how I WANT a full size. I'm probably going to buy a full size because this is just an amazing tint.

First off don't let the stock photo fool you because it's not red and it doesn't look like that on the lips. The color is more of a candy pink/red. Which I don't mind at all. It's not red but it's not pink, but it's for sure not the hot pink shade. I don't even know how to explain this color but it's great. I love how unique it is. I've been using a lip brush to apply it and I really love the formula. Much like the lipstick it's very hydrating. And unlike my water tint, THIS ISN'T MESSY. Praise Jesus. Nothing is worse than having to suck at your teeth because the tint gets all over your teeth. It's just a messy.  This is such a nice hydrating milky consistency that it doesn't go anywhere but your lips. And I appreciate that Etude House.

The smell of this stuff is also great. It smells like cherry candy or something. I don't even know how to explain it. The taste if you do happen to lick your lips or something isn't that horrible either. I don't know how to explain what Etude House products smell like because I'm sure they add scents according to color and what they name stuff as. Point is, it smells great.

Here I used both products together to create a really pretty and delicate gradient lip!

This is the lip look I've been doing recently when I do my make up. I absolutely adore it. It makes my lips look really girly and everyone is always asking when I go to school what lipstick I'm using on my lips and it's actually a bit of a gradual process to get this look!

Here is the Tutorial I did for it down below:

Holika Holika Magic Pole Mascara Volume and Curl x2 Review: My Game Changer Mascara + Massive Fall Make Up and Skincare Haul Video

Hello once more! I'm here with a review on a marvelous mascara that's been a game changer to my make up life! Anyone who has been keeping up with me on my other social media sites have known that lately, I've been on a Korean beauty fix. From skincare to cosmetics, I've really been impressed with not only how well these products work but how the packaging is visually appealing/cute and also how affordable Korean make up is considering the quality.

I've really adored Holika Holika for a long time. Back when they had witch-y magical packaging I really loved it especially. I love anything that kind of has a mystic edge and that's exactly what Holika Holika represented as a brand. If you didn't want to have the minimalist packing of brands like the Face Shop and Laniege but didn't want to be cute and pink like Etude House-Holika Holika was the way to go. It was still cute but kind of mysterious and magical.

A couple years later, HolikaHolika changed their concept. Regardless, I still love their products and this mascara hasn't changed regardless of the packaging change.

Back during my birthday I decided to try the Magic Pola Mascara out for it's affordability. Beforehand I was using Maybelline Rocket and Colossal mascaras. They were fine but didn't really pack the punch I wanted. As most know on this blog, I am a Japanese fashion enthusiast and I live by my false lashes and circle lenses. However, I am also a student and can't be bothered with the waste of my eyelash/eyelash glue at times and really wanted a mascara that could be an alternative for when I didn't want to wear my falsies.

What really attracted me to the Holika Holika Magic Pole mascara was no doubt the ad campaign with CN Blue. Not even for the fact that they used CN Blue but the female model they used was GORGEOUS. When she wore heavy make up she looked like some type of magical modern day witch or mysterious. The purple circle lenses and smokey eye for sure helped with that affect but her lashes looked gorgeous.

Here is the ad below!

I ended up buying it for myself awhile back and wow, I am impressed. Let's first talk about the packaging. Korea and Japan no doubt always have it together when it comes to packaging.  The box it comes in is interestingly shaped like a triangle. You can't even see what the tube looked like in the box but it has metallic lettering. I also appreciate when Korean products give its claims and instructions in English as well. That is super helpful! I also loved how magical the box looked when you open it. It looks like you just unleashed the power of a magical wand.

The tube is gorgeous. This is something that I wouldn't mind carrying in my bag because it looks aesthetically pleasing. The tube is a beautiful blue to purple gradient with magic sparkles that loop around the tube. The top piece resembles the Majolica Majorca products and supposedly the formula of this brand is comparable to the Japanese counterpart.

The wand is very interestingly shaped. The wand is typically long with the bristled like any other wand would be but at the end there is a ball of bristles. This ball is supposed to help you apply mascara to harder to reach areas of your eyelashes and get closer in. It is also supposed to help with the curling effect!

As for the formula? I am ditching my Maybelline mascaras. Which is really saying something because I swore by them, especially seeing them all in the Japanese fashion magazines. It makes my lashes long and coats them nicely without minimal clumping. This mascara also created phenomenal bottom lashes which I appreciate.

Here is a picture showing the before and afters of my eyelashes using the Magic Pole Mascara...

Before and After

With circle lenses in but minimal eyeliner and from far away

This mascara also is really easy to take off with warm water which I do appreciate. It doesn't remove with a make up wipe unfortunately like the Maybelline does meaning it does have a significant amount of staying power since it only comes off with warm water.

In all, this is my go to mascara recently. I am definitely going to repurchase!

Here is a video I did speaking of make-up, on the massive make up and skin care haul of sin I committed for the fall season.

Holy Water For Your Face: Cure Aqua Gel Review

For years now I've been struggling with my skin and it's always been something I'm incredibly self conscious about. As most of you know, I definitely hide behind a lot of make up. I don't think I'm the prettiest of girls thanks to my skin texture/face shape/weight so I've always been envious of tall girls and ones with cherub-like faces that can get away with very little make up.

History on my skin being, I developed when I was seven years old. I'm not exactly sure why it happened but I broke out horribly so I hadn't really had nice textured skin since. When you're that young skin care isn't exactly something you think about so much. Especially since nobody else your age talks about such a burden. It wasn't until I was nine or ten that I got a bit self conscious about it honestly. I hadn't  been allowed to wear make up yet to cover it and was told that apparently I had a hormone imbalance causing bunches of stuff. I've been on various medical treatments for my acne. Urothermicine which helped my forehead a lot. However my cheek area never ever had healed and the doctors even placed me on Tetrocycoline pills with testosterone in them to lower my estrogen levels (which caused a lot more issues later on in life). So I've literally tried a lot of different treatments for my skin. Over-the-counter and off.

Thankfully, as I've aged some of the skin problems have faded. My skin texture however has always been shit. No matter what cleanser I used or anything...combination skin remained and I could get huge bumps after eating anything remotely greasy. I blame the fact that I have huge gross pores that cling onto anything and make lovely un-wanted holes in my foundation. I can't have pizza or french fries without a lot of consequences and I'm almost thinking of going on a miso soup and water diet JUST TO SEE how skinny I can get and how nice my skin will be with my skincare regimen because clearly I'll be hydrated.

On my birthday as you guys saw, I did a massive haul and one of the things I got sold after using a tester was the Cure Aqua Gel. I had heard so many good things about it. Apparently it sells every minute or so in Japan from what I heard. It's all natural so it's good for sensitive skin. It helps get rid of dead skin cells (it peels through those layers) which helps your other skin care products be more effective.

For a bit I was a bit wary. The price was 35.00-40.00 for this stuff and I just wondered if it was worth it honestly. Oh my god you guys it was THE BEST 40.00 I have ever spent.

When I first used this stuff I went through like...a massive break out phase but I heard from my best friend that using anything that has major results does that. True to that. In a month I was barely wearing any foundation. The texture of my skin massively improved and while the scars and hyper-pigmentation is still there-it has lightened significantly.

My goal is to eventually get away with some concealer and BB Cream.

I did a demo of the product in a video to show what all this gel does but here are some up close pictures of the procedure.

So for the Cure Aqua Gel to be called a GEL it's a very water consistence. Super watery and once you let it set it turns white and milky. You're supposed to rub the product on your face and let it set a moment or two before rubbing to exfoliate.

As you see, I have a lot of hyper pigmentation and acne scar still but trust me it was A LOT WORSE a couple months ago. They are gradually fading away the more I use this stuff in pair with my daily cleanser and moisturizers. When I rub the set gel on my face in circles, this is what comes off. As gross as this is; it's the dead skin on your face. My skin also looks this red because I'm literally beating the shit out of it when skincare hence pestering it a little. I'm also incredibly pale (literally the palest shade in foundation) so everything and anything shows up unfortunately.

Afterwards! See? It is slowly fading from red to light pink. This is usually what I can cover with foundation and lightly. I used to realy have to cake on. Some of the more irritated bits I use a MAC or Nars concealer for (I'm a MAC and Nars ho for any of you who know) but I seriously haven't been happier for how less stressful my foundation routine is. I just seriously need to stay the fuck away from oily/greasy food/not be in areas where my make up melts off like it did on Halloween (which broke me out more =_= ugh!)

My entire face! I wish I kind of had a before picture to show you guys what I shitty state my skin was in beforehand. It was really sad because I really do use a lot of things (affordable things tho) to nuture my skin but it just wasn't cutting it. After using this product my skin texture is not only luminous and my hyper-pigmentation is not only lightened, but my skin looks a lot more brighter and luminous. These pictures are taken on my digital camera so they're not cell phone quality and aren't edited at all just so you guys could see what a difference this is!

THIS IS LITERALLY MY FACE WITH MAKE UP!!!!! Now I intentionally did a lighter style of make up and a different style just because I could not believe how little of foundation I was putting on. Literally the tiniest pump of Kat-Von-D foundation ever. This is with *no filters* unedited tho taken at a nice angle but I kid you not; LOOK AT THAT TEXTURE!!!

This was my skin texture the last time I did light make up. No filter at all. Clearly i have make up on but if you look closely you can really see a difference. I'm having to highlight the shit out of my skin to make it luminous in comparison. As you see there's a lot of texture to my skin here, bumps and just creases. I'm having to throw on a lot even for a really light-cutesy look.

So in conclusion this stuff is totally worth the 35.00 I spent on it. I really gets the job done and really has been a game changer! I seriously am going to cry when I run out and re-purchase despite the hole it's going to leave on my wallet. It's holy water for my face!!!

Here's a full video review and demo below:
